#987: Bro core leak caused by sumstats framework

the sumstats framework might cause a memory leak in the Bro core.
On landfill, I get the following pprof output when running a pretty
minimal
script (attached) using the topic/seth/metrics-merge branch.
You need to run the script on a trace with connections - I used the very
short
ftp-ipv4.trace trace from testing. The leak seems to become worse over
time.
I am not entirely sure if it really is a leak or just some… artifact of
the google
perf tools. But on a first glance, it might be one.

Working on merging this in topic/robin/metrics-merge. TODOs:
- memory leaks
- coverage.bare-mode-errors
- high CPU usage
Also sent a list of smaller things to Seth.

The tracker is currently down, seems an update broken something.

Replying to [comment:4 seth]:
> From visually inspecting it, it seems ok to me. Did you test it enough
to see if the cluster id's are set correctly? I'd say we can go ahead and
merge it if you did.
Yes, I tested it. I was just wondering if we need anything else, or if it
is done for now.
